About Us

Our Story

Wings Greens & Things is a takeout restaurant that has proudly served the Chicagoland area since 2018. After spending a total of 17 years in prison, housed between Dwight and Decatur Correctional Institutions where I developed my culinary skills, my passion for cooking grew.

Before doing my last prison bid', I decided to give my life to the Lord. I prayed for God to change my mindset... and He did.

From that point on my mission was to provide fresh, great tasting, home-cooked food for all when I returned home. I vowed to never return to prison again as an inmate. If I did return, it would be as a mentor to share my story and the rocky road I traveled to get to this point.
